Notes
This is a short game submitted for the 5th Annual Driftwood Jam (https://itch.io/jam/5adj) limited to only using RPG Maker RTP assets. It was a fun experience putting this silly game together!
While I consider this game to be a finished experience, any feedback would still be much appreciated. Maybe one day I will flesh this concept out with more customized art. Maybe one day I will flesh this concept out with more customized art.
Have fun!
Version 1.0.2 has some minor typo fixes, but I've kept the original game jam submission version available.

This was an amazing game! I had a lot of fun messing about with the mech controls (I had to write down the module commands for convenience, and my favorite module was the laser). The plot started out a silly romp, but I was not expecting that plot twist after the second boss. I beat the third boss in an exciting fight, and... that's it? The heroes get locked up, and our protagonist is spurred by the demon lord to turn into a monster? Dude, that was one heck of a cliffhanger... any chance for a sequel? :D
Glad that you had fun :) This game jam project is complete as it is, but at some point I do want to explore again the robot-piloting mechanic and flesh it out more one day.
That sounds great! I'm be more than happy to see that. It's a very unique concept.
How do you create the battle system?
A combination of lot of probably over-convoluted eventing and show pictures!
